I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the right answer. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I got an answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably can help you..

Ok...got it sorted!!.

Now, I have but one more question please....

Please view my iPage site and if you can tell me what to edit to remove the table default image from the product pages that would help me very much!!.

Also.... i'd like to know how to add plain text in the main box in the centre of the index page please....

Cheers....

Well... I spent two days on it and solved almost every issue.....

Then I was getting advice to go for a template to use....so I thought, ok, i'll do that..

The bts gives me a script error on index.php but otherwise it works fine...and it worked faultlessly yesterday..

I tried to install ms2 max today, but my server wont let me access the sql dbase for create permission..

So now I cant get the bts to work, and have since deleted the last two days work....

Sigh....

Dont know why it doesnt work today and did yesterday......

Sounds like you should get someone to install it for you... or maybe get someone to talk you through the installation process on MSN or something similar. Email your iPage site host and find out about the database for a start, you should have full access to the database permissions. Do they use cpanel or something similar?..

Oh, and the original topic was about removing the header text and the images..

There's a few ways you can go about this if you're trying to figure it out but the secret is to be methodical..

All of the upper right icons are called "table_background_filenamename.gif" so when you navigate to a page, look at the page name, we'll use login.php for example and basically search in the php for "table_background_login.gif"... the only instance will be in this line.

<td class="pageHeading" align="right"><?php echo tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES'table_background_login.gif', HEADING_TITLE, HEADING_IMAGE_WIDTH, HEADING_IMAGE_HEIGHT); ?></td>.

Which for me, is on line 115.

Delete that line, save the file and refresh your login page on your site, should have worked perfectly..

Then it's just a simple case of browsing around your iPage site and each time you see an upper right gif, open up the corresponding php file for that page, look for a line that is exactly the same except for the gif name (you can search for table_background) and delete the line..

Confused? that's literally the easiest way of doing it, although a smart search and replace tool works better when you have 30 files to edit.

Well, do you mean that "Whats new here" in index.php or something else?.

Check out catalog/index.php and catalog/includes/header.php but modify them carefully..

Check catalog/includes/languages/english.php and catalog/includes/languages/english/index.php too, if you want modify those texts...
