That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the answer to that question. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I discover an useful answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could answer your iPage question..

It should be ..........

<html>.

<head>.

<title> </title>.

</head>.

<body>.

</body>.

</html>.

Now I have that bit sorted.........

And to change the colour of the text you would put.

<body text="black" link="red">.

Instead of <body>..

Now onto the layout of the text for the links..........

Where would it go .....?.

I don't really know what you mean, but here is a very good tutorial on links which will tell you basically everything you need to know:.

I'm sure you have read quite a few tutorials by now but I'm sure this will answer your question...

I have been looking at the Arachno 4 editor, I have just realised that perhaps I have to do the links in a table...........i know this might sound a bit dumb but is the reason the links havent worked because I didnt do them in a table.........? as looking at the script you sent me a table looks better anyway, I tried it out and it looked good, so much more together.........it takes just a few times to see things before you get the detail right..........so thanks for taking the time.........

The big feature of Arachno is creating tables in a simple way..

That is also the trick to create a nice page layout. When using tables you can put an image or text where you want..

The next trick: always put the border on 1.

So you can see where you are working and put the borders on 0 when the page is ready..

Last trick: use comments before and after every table < comment start menu>.

Menu table.

< end menu>.

The links must look like this:.

<a href="page1.html"> page1</a>.

<a href="http://www.htmlforums.com"> favorite forum </a>..

If all you want is a link, no need for a wysiwyg editor. Better to learn by hand coding..

Here is your original code, with a link inserted..

<html>.

<head>.

<title> </title>.

</head>.

<body>.

<a href="nextPage.html">Click here to goto the next page</a>.

</body>.

</html>..

That I wanted to know as it just started to get a bit confusing with all the different info I have been taking in ...........

I also wanted to see what the editor was like ......it seems pretty good as I can see the preview and the changes in a split view.......and the changes come up straight away...........

Thanks for your advice........Dr.Web...I will need help on the Images.........do I post it here or in the graphics section........?.
