Got a question... Which is a better program, weight watchers or Nutrisystem? Thanks for any comment. Second question.. Two staples that my wife and I have used with the Nutrisystem dinners are Walkerswood Seriously Hot jonkanoo pepper sauce and crushed red pepper flakes. The crushed red pepper flakes make any of the Italian style meals really good. And the pepper sauce is great in things like the Cajun dinner and a few others.

I usually buy some in Jamaica when we are there but I have also found it at Krogers...

Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the answer to that question. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I bump into an answer. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably can answer it..

I like to add herbs de provence to my eggs. The flavor works great with them...

We found it at Costco. Although I had heard of it before I had never tried it before then. It's like the Italian seasoning that has basil, oregano and other spices already mixed together but it's more of a French thing...

What eggs? It's been a while for me but when did Nutrisystem stop offering the various scrambled egg breakfasts?..

About 3-4 months ago they stopped the scrambled eggs. I use 1/2 cup of egg beater as my protein in the morning!..

I had been on the program for so long when I got my Costco membership that I didn't even try to look into it. I usually get a BBB shipped to me about every 6 weeks. My wife eats all the breakfasts and lunches. We share the dinners and the snacks/desserts. That seems to work so well for us that I don't really want to mess with it...

I use McCormick's Seasoned Pepper and good old Tebasco sauce to season alot of my egg whites and salads. I also will use chill pepper. KC Masterpiece makes a chipolte marinate (sp?). It has 15 calories for 2 tblsp. I will use it as my salad dressing sometimes as well as a subsitute for ketchup on the burgers. Also I like to use it on my frozen veggies to kick them up as well...

I love most herbs and spices and mix things up frequently. Chili and peppers are commonly used but I get great depth of flavour and heat by using paprika, both hot and sweet..

Cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg are usually associated with sweets but they can boost Nutrisystem entrees too..

Herbes de Provence is an herbal mixture that varies depending by maker but it is mostly thyme, with savory, fennel, basil, lavender, marjoram and oregano in most mixes..

I also add curry to most of the lunches, especially the potatoes. I have several different curries and add spices to personalize...

Cumin is good in eggs. So is (amazingly) a bit of powdered ginger...
