Quick question: Which is the best choice: Weight Watchers, Nutrisystem? Thanks in advance for any response. 2nd question I got is.. I had the most peculiar experience this morning. I vaguely remember getting up to go to the bathroom and get a drink of water in the middle of the night and I happen to notice in the trash this morning the wrappers of 6 of the breakfast or lunch bars..

I swear I don't even remember eating them. Has anyone else had a problem with "sleep eating"? And if so, have you found any strategies that prevented you from doing it? Thanks...

I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the answer to your question. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I discover an anything. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably could answer your Nutrisystem question..

Prolly an isolated event. Your body's way of fighting the adjustment, but it WON'T win! No worries unless it keeps happening. Tie your ankle to the bed post (just one ankle for this purpose)..

Hope you're right. Sadly, I think everything I got into must have had sorbitol in it because I have been having some serious problems this morning! I think I'll up my veggie uptake in the evening the next few days. I've changed my autoship options to not send as many sweet tasting snacks..

Weighed myself this morning and according to the scale, I have lost no weight at all this week. Hope it's just transient water weight or I just have a few pounds of extra "stuff" passing through my digestive track. Otherwise, I guess I'll just have to try harder to be 100% next week...

That's a new one Greg. Not to make light of the situation, but as a reforming fattie the mental imagery is kind of funny! Think of the stories you're going to have when you talk about your weight loss...

Yeah, Ambien was the first thing that came to my mind. I've heard that's a pretty common problem with people that are taking it...

Greg, I must say this is a first for me also. Sorry to tell you this, but I found it amusing(and yes I was laughing at you). This is going to be a great story when you have lost all of your weight, but until then ... I have got no help for you!..

It's OK. I would laugh at me too. It would be funny to me as well if it wasn't so tragic (weight gain). Glad I could provide everyone a laugh though!.

I guess at this point since I don't have any more snacks I'll be making do with some unlimited veggie options until my new food arrives. haha..

A good friend of mine at church is a notorious sleep walker (she's even woke up and found herself in a running car, but luckily hadn't put it into drive while sleeping). She is a sleep eater also when she diets. Her husband had to rig their fridge with some latch on it and this stopped the sleep eating (I guess he stayed up and watched her a couple of times)..

Some pretty scary stories on her night time adventures.....

The detective in me has a couple of questions....

1) Did you notice any food particles from the breakfast/lunch bars in your teeth?.

2) When you burp, could you taste the after effects?.

Best case scenario, there's another late night snacker in your house.....

Buy one of those plastic foot lockers, from the Walmart automotive section, and lock it at night. If you are good enough to find the keys and get the box open in your sleep then you deserve the treats that you eat...

Cutting out the sweet Nutrisystem not a bad idea anyhow. There are people that have an issue with waking control on them as well...

I see you may not be alone at night according to your picture, maybe she can hide the keys - just tell her to keep a bat handy....

And hide the cat too...!.

Just busting, you'll get by this I hope - I did see something like this on Discovery Health (I think) where they filmed someone night eating - i'll have to ask my wife about it, she'll remember - she's a nurse - eats this stuff up...

Maybe have a big huge salad before going to bed. Serious...good practice anyhow for avoiding waking cheats also. Since your gut is full, maybe you'll feel less inclination to sleep eat...

I did not sleep eat last night, but I woke up half a pound heavier anyway. That really pissed me off. So I went to the cafeteria in the building at work and ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. I had seconds thoughts though and right before I was about to eat it, I decided to give it away. No one else wanted it. So I just threw it away..

Wow that was hard. I am going to come in a pound heavier this week, but I guess the only thing I can control is what I do about it. So here is my plan:.

Customize my Nutrisystem meals not include so many sweet tempting snacks and meal bars. They aren't very filling anyway. So that makes it easy to go off plan..

Add a salad consisting of unlimited veg. options to my dessert/snack..

Post to one of the 100% threads to keep me more accountable..

Touch base with a friend at work I found out is also doing Nutrisystem if I feel like going off plan again. I happened to run into her on the way back from the cafeteria and she was partially responsible for guilting me into throwing away the sandwich..

Thanks for everyone's suggestions and comments. If this continues to be a problem, I may have to use the foot locker idea!..

Good for you! You totally take responsibility for the problem and work to solve it WITHOUT falling off the plan. Don't beat yourself up over 1/2 lb that can be normal body fluctuation..

That happens. I did that a couple of days ago where I was 100% and woke up heavier. The next day you will actually get a double bump if you don't mess it up by eating a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit. The following day I lost 2.2 pounds. Don't ask me why, it just does!..

Sounds like your psychologically messed up like a soup samich. I'm not qualified to diagnose a cure or even a treatment for you. However, when people do ask me why I'm not losing weight, I'm going to use your excuse..
