Good question... I dunno what is the answer to that question. I'll do some research and get back to you if I bump into an anything. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably can answer it..
If you can go right back on plan and the water weight gain from it does not throw you emotionally, no foul. Just DONT use it as an excuse to go off-plan after the event. Like Poly said, it's best to stay 100%. Especially in your beginning weeks with Nutrisystem until you find "the groove". As most around here know, I'm an advocate of the occaisional planned deviation to preserve sanity. We're all different and you've got to find out for yourself how you handle it..
Probably a good idea for the first 6 months if you just stay 100% on the Nutrisystem plan and learn how to do it. Old habits have to be broken. New ones need to be formed..
If you continue to do what made you overweight to start with, why spend the money on NS?..
I agree with everyone. But I have kids and they want to go out periodically. We went to Uncle Julio's a couple of weeks ago. I avoided alcohol, but had cheese and onion enchilladas (ate 1/2) and had salsa and chips. No weight increase and just went back on diet..
Longhorn steaks are tasty, but as long as you avoid the bread and alcohol, no foul. Fouls only accumulate with bread, desserts, beer/wine/etc..
I have to fly to Singapore in a month on Singapore Airlines in business class. The big deal for them is excellent wine and lots of it! Great for us Nutrisystems people and diabetics! Plus, getting drunk on those marathon flights (Newark to Singapore, nonstop) is horrible for one's health. So, I will nibble the food and drink lots of water. And walk around the airplane!..
They have dining out instructions. And they have flex instructions. Just follow the plan when you are out. Have the portions that would duplicate your entree plus add ins. Figure out what is slathered in butter and don't have it, etc. etc. Just keep following plan...
Depends on your true consistency. If you cheat everyday with a little something, then I say no. But if you are a 100% everyday of that 2 weeks, then I say yes...
Log what you eat and check out the calories you've consumed. Nothing beats really knowing how many calories you really ate instead of guessing and hoping. Then, you'll have data to use to help inform your decisions the next time you go out...
"Once on the lips... forever on the hips"..
Seriously, I hope you enjoyed the minor distraction... NOW, get back on plan and forgive yourself...
It wouldn't be the end of the world if you ate out once every two weeks, but I wouldn't start to do this until the 3rd month or so of strict compliance. My reasoning is that it's much easier to get back on the program if you've seen results..
On a more practical level, you shouldn't have ribs.
Steak. Those are two entrees. How about just steak or just ribs and limit the carbs?..
