Question I have... Which web iPage hosting service is good for actors? Thanks for any answer. My 2nd question... We have change our iPage hosting provider, and lucky enough to have a backup of all our databases..

Everything is working fine, we can see all the products, we can edit the products in the admin..

BUT.

In the catalog, when clicking on the product it comes up 404 not found?.

They have now got funny links....

I understand that is could be a path somewhere, just not sure where. Any advice?.

I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some research and get back to you if I got an good answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could help you..

Put this into a folder as a file, name it phpinfo.php (place it in.

Then we can see what your actual doc root is, once done then you can remove it. or you could leave it, as it doesnt hurt anything..

<?php phpinfo(); ?>.

I think it could be something setup on your main page, not letting anything get past..

What have figured is that.

Index.php/cPath/21.

Is not right. Mouseover on each product shows a different figure. (eg /21, /53).

But I just dont think that is the right way of display..

You can view what is happening at.

Ok so what is it, is the nospam.com configure.php yours or was that just for something to look at?..

Hmm, when I view one of my products, the url is like this:.

When I change yours:.

To.

It works fine. So in the logical world there must be something wrong in your product.info.php file.

Hope this helps.

Frippen bbs's.

When I changed your link from your store to.

It works fine..

Exactly the problem, I just don't know where about to change it so that it functions normally..

I am thinking maybe a database thing, but not sure...

That was the iPage site I am working on, it is the correct path in the phpinfo.php file and was modified to stop email harvestors from following iPage website addresses to scan for email to harvest...

Ok, installed a clean version, everything worked fine. Imported the database and the same thing happened...

Turn off "search engine friendly urls" in your store's admin, I don't remember exactly where it is at, but that's probably it...

That DID the job beautifully..

Thankyou for your response...

Is that your actual web iPage site domain? post your configure.php file here without the database info, password, etc..
