My 1st question is: Who's the best web iPage hosting service? Thanks for any answer or 2. 2nd question I got is.. Hi Guys,.

If you look.

Here.

I would like to remove the category image from the top right completely..

I presume that when I remove the code it will move the product listing box up nd close the gap..

Which piece of code from which file to I need to remove or comment out?.

Thanks.

Mark..

Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the answer to that question. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I discover an anything. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could answer your iPage question..

Doh, I just realised you stated 'categories' and not 'manufacturers', no problem though you just delete the code lines above what I just outlined in the previous reply. Just remove this:.

{.

   include(DIR_WS_BOXES'categories.php');.

 }..

Hi mugitty,.

I tried commenting out that line and I even tried removing the whole line but the image still appeared!.

Any other ideas?.

Thanks.

Yeah it never workd for me Muggity either - should I have been looking towards a file nearer the catalog/ folder to eliminate the manufacturers and the catagories boxes? - just wondered as I'm still relatively new to this - BTW my suggestion above worked fine on a new install setup to remove those segments...

Sorry guys, my bad ....

To get rid of the top-level category image, about line 67, change.

To.

Then, to get rid of the image on product listing and manufacturer pages, about line 272, change.

To.

And the image that appears on the index (main) page is called in the same manner at about line 291..

Nicely done Muggity, regarding making changes like that and finding code for commenting out, would you reccomend using a text search tool to target specific code? - or did that come from just knowing the package well?..

Sean;.

I usually will target specific code, change one instance at a time and then confirm what and where the change has an effect. (obviously, I didn't test my changes after my first post in this thread - Bad Boy!)..
