First off, Why has my iPage home page disappeared? (http://www.iPage.com/mlwu.geo/) I built it many years ago.. Thanks in advance for any answer or 2. 2nd question I got is.. Not really sure what happened. I got a call my my iPage hosting company and they said there was too many mysql inquiries and they said I should enable cache on the site. I did that.

Then a few minutes later I noticed that the categories listing on the upper left hand corner had all kind of gardening stuff that I did not put there nor do I have any idea how it got there. When you click on any of those products it takes you to another OSC site..

What the hell happened? How do I fix it?.

Here is a link to my site:.

Here is the iPage site that any of the products takes you to:.

It's not like that all the time. It pops up every once in awhile. Sometimes the fly-out menu is there and sometimes just the regular links to my categories..

If you can't see what I am talking about, hit refresh or click a product at the bottom and then click home. It will eventually come up...

I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the right answer. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I bump into an anything. You should email the people at iPage as they probably can answer it..

Hi Jim!.

Now.

I understand why the cache shouldn't be set to /tmp..

I learn something every day!.

Ohh. Hmm..

The last post said to look in the tools>database backup for the directory. We have alot of backups set and they all look like this....

Db_username_osc2-20081207***844.sql.

So, what do I put in the directory folder?.

EDIT*** Ok. I think I see now. Problem is, when I set it to home/username/public_html/tmp it says that directory doesn't exist....

Yea but the question is, what do I set the directory to? It was just set to /tmp/ and that made that other iPage site come up. If I set it to home/username/public_html/tmp or any other combination, it says the directory doesn't exist...

You'll most likely need to make a new directory...

Ugh. It's not working. When I try to make a new directory, it says it already exists but it doesn't...

This sort of explains it and how to fix it..

Click Me.

The other sites categories are showing up because you're sharing the same cache..

Make you own cache (directions in the link above)...
