I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the right answer. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I discover an decent answer. You should email the people at Godaddy as they probably know..

My question is to the people who spent more than 1k on domains...

Wow you are real gamblers.

))).

Ok. did any of you got some income out of that domains, which was more than you spent on buying and renewing them?..

I'm sorry for sounding really ignorant but do any of you buy domains using $np instead of dollars?..

I am! I am trying to get 500 NP$ to buy a domain...

We mostly buy and sell domains and ofcourse we wont lose money that way lol.

But since this year we have started parking them at:.

Fabulous.

Domainhop.

Sedo.

Google Ads*.

I have to say the parking income is pretty low on the moment..

But, from a lot of profs I hear it's a bad period right now.....

Buy smart and every HostGator except a rare few will turn a profit...

I dont have that many domains left and I usually buy then sell so about $50-100.

Per year...

Smart words. should be written as a rule IMHO..

5K-10K per year in Business is Nothing for other Capital Investments.

So why should it be unusual for Internet Based Businesses.

I plan to invest at least that in the Next three Months..

Yeah, we have around 1500..

At This level the $6 per name I get at my registrar saves a few grand....

PM me for details..

Agreed.

It's funny how much better my names are over time with knowledge and experience!..

All you guys added together plus 10k - 20k give or take..

I have probably spent over $500 this year on reg. fees, but I normally sell the domains before they expire, thus eliminating renewal fees..

Tom..

In the year 2004 I spent $200 on domains and made $1450. This year I am trying to do a bit better...

I can't speak for everyone but I don't see it as gambling. I doubt many people have over 1000 names without having a few big sales under their belt. You make a sale and reinvest some of the profits in more names. I could pay my reg fees for many years out the the profits from names I have already sold...

About $2,000 and Just warming up, I got a good feeling on this table, lol...

Would you like to spread some good feeling this way..
